Life Begins at 50!

For my 50th birthday I asked several of my quilting friends to make a
6" Friendship Star and sign it in lieu of presents. I wanted batiks or hand dyed
fabrics with the star a warm color and the background a cool color. I happened
to be working on Karen Stone's New York Beauty using the same type of fabrics and
I though why not combine them into 1 quilt? Here is the result with a little help from my friends!
